  4. I have so many memories of Linda and J.C. as a young child growing up with them in my life. Linda was an amazing woman ahead of her time in many ways. She was there during my young years and early womanhood. I remember Linda loved the color red, which she always wore well. And it was so befitting for her, passionate, strong yet loving. She loved shoes, I believe she had every color available for any occasion or outfit. There was nothing that she could not sew or create. She was quiet creative and nothing stood in her way. The word No or You can’t was just a dare to her. The one lesson in life I believe I took away from all those many years of being around Linda was there’s nothing you can’t do, if you are determined and want it badly enough. She taught me to be strong, stand tall and make life happen on your own terms. With much love and respect, you will always be in my heart Linda, now it’s time to rest.

  5. Dear J.C., Jake and the entire Phillips Family, We were so sorry to hear about Linda. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. 9. Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 258. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.
