Guestbook

  1. Dear Mooring Family, I will always remember Mrs. Mooring as a loving Den Mother, Cubmaster, and second mom. I spent many memorable times with her at her home in Parkwood, Durham, NC and at Parkwood Baptist Church with Pack 495. She strove for perfection with her Cub Scout program. I cannot forget her beautiful smile. I am glad that I could grow up with her sons, Guilford, II, William, and John. Mr. Mooring always had a good joke. Mrs. Mooring knew how to cook. I grieve the passing of Mrs. Mooring. May the Lord be with the Mooring Family. Ken Peedin, Jr.

  2. My dear friend, I will miss you! Not only our working relationship but the friendship that we shared and the long talks. I’ll never forget the butter flavored Crisco in the mashed potatoes…Yes, I really did love it or the time that you and Guilfford picked up my stew and you wrapped each and every container in paper before you froze it…Then even brought it to me. I will never forget the gleam in your eyes and the smile on your face every time we mentioned the grandchildren…(Yes, boys she really loved you too..but they were her pride and joy). I can never forget your upmost honesty and saying what you feel. Those little hugs that you gave to me when I was down and the help that you were when my parents passed away. YOU WERE THERE! I’ll never forget you for when I look up in the sky and see the bright shining sun glistening through the clouds, I’ll see you there, smiling down at us. This is not goodbye my dear friend but just a so long for we WILL meet again.

  3. Linda and I were not only classmates but childhood playmates. We shared many wonderful times together playing and just being children. She always was a compassionate and selfless person. She will be greatly missed.

  4. Linda was such a great classmate and friend. She has always had such a giving heart and a love for her fellowman. She will be missed by everyone.

  5. Sorry. She will be missed. I remember those Den Mother days also, and having fun getting her riled up. Good times. George Story

  6. Guilford, family and friends. I was saddended to hear of Linda’s passings and I hope that you can take some comfort in knowing that she left such a positive and loving mark on so many. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
