Larry Lane Pullen

ROCKY MOUNT - Larry Lane Pullen, age 56, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. Born in Nash County, NC on July 25, 1961, he was the son of Herman Pullen and Maxie Baker Pullen. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Pullen; and brother, David Pullen. Larry attended Northern Nash High School. He was an avid outdoorsman. Larry enjoyed working in the yard. He loved NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Larry enjoyed every single day and never met a stranger. He filled his days spending time with his family and making memories he dearly cherished. Larry was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend, and will be dearly missed by all those who knew him. Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory, son, Eric Pullen and wife, Sherri of Wilson. He is also survived by grandchildren, Anna, Lucas, and Eli Pullen; mother, Maxie "Tommie" Pullen of Nashville; sister, Dawn High and husband, Larry, of Red Oak; and numerous nieces and nephe A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1703 Reges Store Road, Nashville with the Rev. Allen Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Dozier Cemetery in Whitakers. A visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
