Kenneth Ted Carney

Kenneth Ted Carney, 48, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in Texarkana, Arkansas. He was owner and operator of Hillbilly Line Haul Escort Service in Nashville, NC. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed music, laughter, video games, sports and fishing. He never met a stranger and became a friend to everyone he met. Memorial services will be held 4:00 pm Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Surviving are his wife, Kim Carney, sons, Chad Carney of Nashville and Nick Carney and his wife Brandi of Elm City; granddaughter, Alexis Carney of Elm City; brother, Todd Carney and his wife Jennifer of Spring Hope; nephew, Micheal Carney of Spring Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents Faye and Ken Carney; his grandparents, Katherine and Russell Leonard and his uncle Dalton Leonard. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N.
