Katie Carolyn Griffin Ervin

ROCKY MOUNT - Katie Carolyn Griffin Ervin, age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Born in Nash County, NC on April 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Harold Wilson Griffin I and Elsie Mae Granger Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Taft Ervin I; and her sister, Margaret Griffin Gallimore. Katie is survived by her daughters, Katherine Bailey Barnes and husband, William and Margaret Ann Bailey and husband, Gary Ewell; her grandchildren, Jessica Michelle Liles, Kristopher DeWayne Rennwald and wife, Sheila, and Raymond Taft Ervin III; her great-grandson, Joshua Reese Liles; brother; Harold Wilson Griffin, II and wife Carole; and special dear friends, Wayne Webb and Mitchell and Susan Fox. A Private Memorial Graveside Service will be held at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
