Jesse Marvin Howell

ROCKY MOUNT - Jesse Marvin Howell, age 89, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Born in Nash County, NC on August 31, 1926, he was the son of the late Jesse Ward Howell and Edna Howell. Marvin served in the Army Air Force during WWII as Private First Class. After the war ended he was elected to sit in on the Nuremberg Trials. Marvin leaves behind to cherish his memory, one brother, Grady Ward Howell of Rocky Mount; three sons, Steven Howell (Deborah) of Rocky Mount; Stanley Howell (Julie) of Erwin; Philip Howell (Karol) of Pamlico County; eight grand-children; and nine great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.   4. I am very sorry for your loss . Losing a loved one in death is such a difficult thing to experience . Please be comforted by the promises in the Bible . Jesus tells us at John 5 28 , 29 that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out . What a loving provision put in place by the God of all comfort so we can have the assured hope of seeing our dead loved ones live again one day .
