Jared Michael Allison

July 22, 1994 ~ December 1, 2020

CLAYTON - Jared Michael Allison, age 26, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Jared was born in Gainesville, FL on July 22, 1994, and was the son of Scott Allison of Baggs, WY and Angela Radford McClellan of Clayton. Jared can be best remembered for making a difference in the lives of all those surrounding him. Like branches from an Oak, he entered into this world touching the lives of many and in his passing and hereafter, will continue to make a difference for those of us left behind. Growing up, Jared's devotion to helping others and making a difference led him to enlisting in the United States Army as an 11B Infantryman and later to becoming a Nash County Sheriff's Deputy in order to Protect and Serve his family, his friends, and all of those within the community. It was in fact his life's calling, as well as the standard of which he lived his life. Jared had many joys in life, from his 44 Ford Broncos to spending time with his friends. Yet nothing could ever compare to the joy he shared with his wife, son, family members, and his inherited law enforcement family and friends. He fulfilled his duties both in life and in service to all, and the legacy he leaves behind will forever live on. Jared is survived by his wife, Brenae Janes Allison of Clayton; his son, Colt Allison of Holly Springs; his father, Scott Allison; his mother, Angela Radford McClellan and step-father, Robert; his sister, Deanna Beal of Princeton; his father and mother-in-law, Brian and Beth Janes; his niece, Raine Dalager; and his most loyal fur babies, Shep, Nugget, Nash, Harlough, and Mr. Ginger. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Englewood Baptist Church, 1350 S. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Bailey Forrest and Elisha Freeman officiating. The family would like to thank all for their prayers of comfort and support, especially the Nash County Sheriff's Department, Nash County EMS, and the staff at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jared's memory to Saving Grace NC Animal Rescue, 13400 Old Creedmoor Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
