James Edward Tucker

James Edward Tucker, 47, passed away to be with his Lord and Savior on Satuday, May 22, 2010. He was born in Nash County on July 11th, 1962, the son of Ely Tucker Jr and the late Virginia Dare Pollard Glover. He worked for many years in Coastal Towing and was a loving son and brother. James is survived by his father, Ely Tucker Jr; his stepfather, Billy Elmer Glover of the home; his stepmother, Gail Tucker of Whitakers; a sister Brenda Tucker Mott and her husband Jimmy Lee Mott of Pinetops; two nieces, Misty Leigh Mott of Rocky Mount and Amanda Lynn Mott of Pinetops; and a great nephew, Jayden Quamane Mott of Pinetops. James is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents , Herman Hardy and Ora Belle Pollard; and Ely and Zeffie Tucker. Friends may call upon the family from 7:00 to 8:30 PM on Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N Winstead Avenue.
