Guestbook

  1. What a huge loss for all who knew her! She was a great nurse with a big heart who cared for her patients as a nurse should. Prayers for her family and grand-kids, she talked about you often. Just last week she told me she was going to retire soon to rock her grand-babies, so sad she never got the chance. So sorry her family and grand-children were robbed of the time she should have had left to care for them, enjoy them and just to enjoy her hard work. She was a delight to know! Please know that the lives she touched will all take away something from her presence, something that will change them and remind them of her smile, her laugh or her personality. I feel blessed to have known her for a short time and though tragedy and horrible acts took her life they should not define her memory. Praying for your comfort in such a tragic event.

  2. Jackie was my nurse in the Cancer Center in Tarboro in 2009. She was a wonderful, devoted, friendly and caring nurse. Carlton Moseley, Tarboro, NC

  3. It is with extreme sadness that I realize that the death of Jackie Skelton has taken place. To her family,I send my deepest sympathy and pray that our loving God will comfort the family in this time of great sorrow.

  4. My heart breaks for her beloved family. She was a dear friend in middle and high school. We drifted apart with time and distance. I have wonderful memories of her playing my favorite songs on the piano, Last Date being my fave. We swam in the lake. Made pizzas from scratch. Attended Big Bam Shower of Stars shows. Ran around the car at stop lights, much to the dismay of Mama Merle! Cried and laughed over boys! Our shared memories are a great part of me. Love to all.

  5. Jackie was such a wonderful lady. I had the pleasure to know her as a co-worker, as my nurse, and most importantly as my friend. Prayers for her family and friends.

  6. We are praying for your family in this extremely difficult time. We know you loved all your family, friends, and your career. We also know you Loved the Lord most of all, and how you exemplified that daily. We are comforted in knowing that you are no longer in pain and with the Lord now. God Bless your family as they heal. In Him, Steve and Cathy Brower

  16. Jackie was and always will be a shining light in this dark world. She and Gary were both such genuine, kind, caring people. She lifted my spirit numerous times when I was going through a difficult time and never wanted any recognition for what she did. She always made me feel like someone important, someone special. I imagine she made everyone feel that way. This world will be left a sadder, yet better place because of their presence.

  17. Prayers for the Skelton family! Jackie was a co-worker but more than that, she was a friend! She will be dearly missed! Such a sweet person!

  18. My deepest condolences to the family and friends. The God of tender mercies and comfort knows the pain and grief we experience when losing a loved one. He promise mankind through the scriptures according to Rev 214 to eliminate sickness and death forever. JW.Org is an educational website which provides comfort for those who are grieving, many titles such as What happens when our Loved ones Die Does God care, and a lovely video, Is there hope for the dead May the scriptures bring you comfort.
