Jace Canyon Alexander Gibbs

September 29, 2016 ~ November 3, 2016

“The death of a baby is like a stone cast into the stillness of a quiet pool; the concentric ripples of despair sweep out in all directions, affecting many, many people.” (John De Frain) On Thursday, September 29, 2016, an angel, Jace Gibbs (Wright), came into this world. Although his stay here was brief, he touched many peoples hearts. Jace, born six weeks premature, remained at Alamance Regional Hospital until October 27, when his father, Jonathan, brought him home. Thus began the most cherished week of Jonathans life. On Thursday, November 3, God called his tiny angel home leaving a void that can never be filled. Jace leaves to cherish his memory his father, Jonathan Wright; mother, Corienna Gibbs (Christian Biegar); paternal grandparents, Peter and Ann Wright; maternal grandparents, Walter and Bonnie Michael; sister, Destiny Robinson, and extended family and friends. The family sends a heartfelt thank you to Nash County 911, Nash County EMS, Coopers Fire Department, Nashville Fire Department, Nash-UNC Emergency room staff, and Dr. David Brantley. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Citty Funeral Home Chapel, 308 Lindsey Street, Reidsville, NC with Rev.
