Helen Robbins Webb

Rocky Mount - Helen Marie Robbins Webb, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. Born in Wilson County, NC on November 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Alger Lee Robbins and Alma Cummings Robbins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cother Webb; and her son, Jerry Lee Webb. Helen was a dedicated member of Ridgecrest Worship Center where she shared her ministry of making prayer shawls. She was a precious and sweet person who would always put others before herself. She kept approximately 55 babies in the past, which all would call her Nanny, as did her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Helen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Terry Webb Pitts and husband, Ronnie, of Rocky Mount; and Joyce Webb Harper and husband, Martin, of Denver, NC; and her grandchildren, Ricky Pitts, Ashley Harris and Meghan Harper and one great-grandson, Charlie Harris. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Ridgecrest Worship Center, 1120 West Mount Drive, Rocky Mount, NC with Pastor Kelly Shope officiating. Visitation with the family will be at 5:30 PM prior to the service. A Committal Service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
