Heather Hubbard Talbot

March 5, 1971 ~ February 7, 2024

TARBORO – Heather Hubbard Talbot, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Born in Danville, VA, on March 5, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Phylliss Anne Welch Hubbard. Heather was blessed with a generous and loving personality. She worked for Edgecombe Community College for over 20 years. Heather enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts, painting, and her Disney character from Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore. She especially loved dragon flies, sunflowers, wilderness animals, snowfalls in the winter months, visiting the mountains, and spending time with her daughter whom she cherished. Heather was a loving and caring mother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many and will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Heather is survived by her daughter, Hannah Nichole Talbot; her father, Donald Nash "Don" Hubbard; her sister, Hillary Hubbard (Mayhew Wallace); her “adopted brother”, Michael Gabriel; her nieces, Katie King, Maggie Warren, Morgan Perkerson, and Abby Talbot; her nephew, Randy Talbot; and her fur baby, Jasper. A Special Gathering of Family and Friends to celebrate Heather’s life will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
