For those who comfort, be in both the words they use and all that is left unspoken; fill each heart with the joy of life, love and peace in this upsetting time. In God’s name we pray for those souls who have departed, and for those who mourn the loss. George was the sales manager at WEED radio for many years. He was always a steadying influence and highly respected by both clients and co-workers. I remember all the great times we had broadcasting Rocky Mount Senior High football games. And for the life of me, I can’t recall anyone ever uttering a negative word about our good friend. Rest in peace George. Yours was a life well lived.
So proud to have known George and to have worked with him for several years. A super person and a great friend. RIP my friend! I will never forget you and the influence you made on your community.
