  1. Bill was one of my favorite brothers from our Home where we were raised. I really got to know Bill and Lennie after I started coming to the breakfast at the Farmers Market. They had the kindest hearts and always went out of their way to help anyone in need. I am thankful that he isn’t in pain now and has gone to be with Lennie. Bless them both.

  2. A very kind gentleman, with many friends and will now have many more. Always enjoyed our many breakfast with our other brothers and sisters, as well as on many other ocassions. We sure will miss you Wm.

  3. Dear Family, When I was growing up in Rocky Mount I remember my dad Billy Donaldson always bragging on Elder Everett. He would often say, ” Bill loved his Lord.” My dad was right because I could always see the Lord in his life. Elder Everett was after God’s own heart. This wonderful man of God influenced my life as well as others. I have been a pastor now for thirty seven years. Elder Everett encouraged me to never give up. I have taken his advice and allowed the Lord to fight the battles for me. Thankful that I was honored to have known this spiritual man of God. Because Jesus Lives, Ricky Donaldson, Pastor of Northside Baptist , Bladenboro N.C.

  5. Bill, Such fond memories of us growing up on Oakland Avenue in Englewood. My Dad, William Pridgen, truly treaured his friendship with Elder Bill and enjoyed their frequent bicycle rides together through Englewood. Bill and Lennie are now reunited in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.

  6. I was sorry to read about the loss of your dear loved one. The bible gives us hope of seeing them again in the promised resurrection to come according to scriptures such as [John 528-29] and [Acts 2415]. We find further hope in scriptures like [Isaiah 258] and [Revelations 213-5] which says in part that Jehovah God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, because God will swallow up death forever. I hope these scriptures will be of some comfort. My Sincere Condolences.

  7. Heaven did indeed receive a truly special angel when Bill Everett entered the pearly gates. Bill has been a family friend for well over 50 years and we are better because he was a part of our journey in life. Bill’s love of the Lord and love of family and friends has touched countless lives. His legacy will carry on in each of us whose life he touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill, Cynthia and family.
