Rocky Mount - Earlyne Priscilla Stubbs, born on November 11, 1957, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2012, while vacationing on the Outer Banks with her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Tri County Industries. Earlyne lived a simple life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beauty parlor, drinking ICEEs and watching DVDS.
Earlyne was preceded in death by her father, Earl Morris Stubbs.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Wheeler Stubbs of Rocky Mount, sister and brother-in-law, Theresa Lynn Nettnin of Rocky Mount, nieces, Kelly Beth Nettnin of Manteo, future nephew, David Bradley Jr. of Rocky Mount and caregiver and friend, Joann Blackett of Rocky Mount.

The family will receive friends 7:00pm - 8:30pm Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. A graveside service to remember Earlyne will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Dr. Carleton McKita officiating.
Flowers will be accepted. The family requests that donations be made to Tri County Industries, 1250 Atlantic Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.

I just learned of Earlyne’s passing and am dazed. I have enjoyed Earlyne’s participation as part of my program at TCI for 27 years and consider her and her family as part of my family. My thoughts and prayers are with Theresa, Dot and the rest of the family. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Jan

I am so sorry to hear this news, but feel blessed to have known such a loving person. I lived beside of Ms. Dot-Dot and Earlyne for many years and I always remember her with a smile on her face and a bounce in her step. What a sweet, wonderful soul.
