Doris Jeanette Mosley

Doris Jeanette Mosley, age 70, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 04, 2012. Born in Rocky Mount on February 04, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Smith Hayes Sr. and Eunice Elsie Hayes. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jr. Hayes, Irvin Hayes and Charles Hayes; and sisters, Eunice Hayes Brown and Anna Hayes.
Jeanette worked at Phillip Fibers for 25 years. She enjoyed her last days of employment at Ward Drug of Nashville. Jeanette loved people and through her encouraging words and her love of the Lord, she touched many lives.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, David Earl Mosley; children, Kimberly Moss Jernigan and husband Chris of Elm City, Butch Moss, Loulynne Moss Griffin and husband Donnie of Jacksonville FL, and Kelly Mosley Bell and husband Brian; grandchildren, Christian Lynn Griffin (Adam), Hanna Smith (Nate), Sara Griffin (Scott), Daniel Jernigan, Brian Jernigan and Cameron Jernigan; and great-grandchildren, Kingsley Nicholas, Kohley Smith, and Harper Smith.
The family will receive friends and relatives 7:00pm to 8:30pm Thursday, September 06, 2012 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. A funeral service to remember Jeanette will be held at 11:00am Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Nash General, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount NC 27804.

To the Mosley and Moss family Jeanette was a very lovely,friendly, and careing person. i work with her many years ago at Nash General Pharmacy and she was a friend and co worker.
