  23. I’m a recent graduate at Nash community college from the Ged program Mr. David Strickland was teaching. He gave me so much confidence in myself. I wasn’t confident in my math test at all because math isn’t my strong subject. He told me I have nothing to worry about because he seen me writing down notes in class and that I could at least make an 8. He even said if I didn’t pass he would tutor me all week til the day of the next test just to make sure I did pass. I passed the first time with an 8 on my math test. He said you don’t know how proud I was of you when you told me that you passed with an 8 I had the biggest grin on my face. That made me so happy that he was proud of me. He made time for his students no matter what he was doing. He will forever be missed. He was my favorite teacher.
