To Cleve’s family and friends – know that our thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this most difficult time. So sorry for your loss. Theresa & Drew Harrell
Cleve and I shared memories that were both painful and comforting. He was a special part of a memory of my time in North Carolina and Rocky Mount. I will miss him.
As my brother, Val, said this morning, I have great memories of our annual Christmas parties at Big Tessie’s house and summer vacations at Carolina Beach. I was saddened to hear of Cleve’s death. I can also remember going to visit his parents and my cousins, Sonny and Cleve, with my parents–when visiting relatives was something you did with your parents on a Sunday afternoon!! I will keep those memories in my heart. Fondly, Tess Price
In addition to a quick wit Cleve had an excellent legal mind. Over the years he worked with me in settling estates and business matters. I was always impressed with his legal knowledge, this combined with an abundance of common sense, always resulted in a very satisfactory solution. We shared a love of golf and dogs and contempt and distrust of most politicians. Cleve, you were a special person to me. John Lewis, Richmond, Virginia
To the Price family and my cousins on the Price side. Sorry to hear of the passing of our cousin, Cleve , or as we used to call him baby brother Fondest memories are when the Prices had our annual Christmas get together s and all the cousins were there to open our presents. You remember they were limited to a one dollar limit LOL. Other memories were going to Cleves house as a child and playing in the yard or inside. Rest well my cousin .
As neighbors back in our teen years both my brother Joe and I will miss you greatly. You often stirred the imaginations of all of us with your journeys through the Universe on magic arrows launched from your million pound bow and you let us travel with you. Maybe some day, I will take another ride on the bow and find you acing a hole on a golf course far far away. Kemp Philips
A sharp mind and an even sharper wit, the Lytton family cherishes the memories we have of Cleve. We say goodbye to one of my dad’s best friends in the world. Thank you Cleve for the golf, the laughter, your counsel and your friendship. Angela and I will cook some waffles in your honor and memory. – Al Lytton
Missing Cleve in our neighborhood. So are the doggies. He was a good friend to them and shared many a treat.
OMG! I just learned of Cleve’s death and am totally shocked. I can’t believe it. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. Price & Julia, I’m so sorry for loss. With much love & sympathy, Penny Wilson
