ELM CITY – Carl Edward Williams, Sr., age 70, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. Born in Gardiner, ME on April 15, 1952, he was the son of the late Edward Theodore Williams and Charlotte Irene Brown Williams. He was also preceded in death by his brother, John Williams.
Carl was a veteran of the US Navy. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, reading books and watching the New England Patriots. Carl was dedicated to his family and loved nothing better than spending time with them.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Vilma Bariso Williams; his son, Carl Edward Williams, Jr.; his daughter, Michelle Amber Williams; and his brother, David Williams.
A Special Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Uncle Carl…..that’s what I remember you as. I always looked up to you when we would visit when i was small. I enjoyed those visits. Those fond memories will stay with me ever more and I am honored to call you shipmate . Rest Easy; Faiwinds and following Seas! GOD be with you Cousin!
