ROCKY MOUNT - Bonnie Smith Ammons, age 59, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020. Born in Nash County, NC on October 10, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Randolph Smith and Odell Joyner Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie R. Ammons. Bonnie is survived by her special cousin, Greg Parker of Rocky Mount; and many other cousins; her brother-in-law, Jerry Ammons and his wife, Shirley of Dunn. A Funeral Service to celebrate Bonnie's life will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Wray Wheeless officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Because of Covid-19, the family requests that everyone respect their wishes and wear masks and practice social distancing.   1. We had wonderful times together. Christmases, The state Fair and yummy lunches. She will be greatly missed. I will love you Bonnie till I die. You are with your love now. Sweet love, Amen!

  2. With heart felt sympathy. I loved Irvin, Odell and Bonnie. Many fond memories of working in the tobacco fields with them in my teenage years. Rest in Peace Bonnie Lou.
