NASHVILLE - Bonnie Lynn Daniel, 8 months old, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Born in Chapel Hill, NC on July 20, 2017, she was the daughter of Joseph Fielding Daniel and Ashley Nicole Daniel. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bonnie Blue.
Bonnie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents, Joseph and Ashley Nicole Daniel of Nashville; and her sister, Olivia Grace. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Fielding and Amy Daniel; her maternal grandfather, Gordon Blue; an uncle, Crawford Tyler Daniel, an aunt, Haven Baker and her husband Dustin; and her cousin, Macie Baker, all of Rocky Mount.
Bonnie's entire life was spent in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UNC Chapel Hill, where she had the opportunity to inspire those around her with her strength and happy positive nature that she projected. Her infectious smile would light up the room along with anyone who was in it. She was a strong and loving child who fought hard and long and was loved by many in and outside of the hospital. Even though she never came home and rarely left her room she had such a spiritual impact on so many people, most of which never knew who she was. Bonnie had people praying for her all over the world, and her family can only hope that she has led as an example of the miracles that Christ can perform and how He is in control and is a loving and just God.

My heart is broken but I know God is in control. Ashley, your faith in God during Sweet Bonnie’s life was so awesome. Your mom would have been so proud of you! I followed your journey this whole time when you announced you were having this sweet baby girl, when you announced that she was going to have heart issues when she was in your womb and when she was born. You kept the faith all the way through this process and your faith in God was such a great witness for us all. You and your family are in my prayers and I pray that God will give you and your family comfort during this time and many days following.
Joseph and Ashley, It was a pleasure meeting you both today, as I said I’m very sorry our paths crossed under these circumstances. But I believe God allows things like that to happen. Hold tight to the memories! Bonnie was so very blessed to have you both to love and care for her. I pray for strength in the coming days. Stay strong in your Faith, as I feel you will with loving family and Church Family. Ashley, I meant what I said if you every need a ear, I’m a phone call away. God Bless you both and please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Tammy – Rocky Mount Memorial Park

Just reading this breaks my heart. She is an angel with Jesus Christ for sure. You can find peace knowing that she is is wanting to see you all one day. God Be with you all and may he feel the empty hole that is in you heart.
I am so very sorry for your loss! The death of a dear loved one is hard to bear. The hope that the Bible gives us is such a comfort! The Apostle Paul assures us in Act 2415, There will be a resurrection . Through this bible truth we gain freedom from a morbid fear of death (Hebrews 215) and real hope of being reunited with our loved ones who have passed (John 528, 29). We can be sure that Jehovah God will do away with death, in fact he views it as the last enemy. (1 Corinthians 1526) He has a longing to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He promises to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. Job 1414, 15. But why do we grow old and die Why does God allow us to suffer These questions and more are answered in our website, JW.org.
