Gale, Just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you during this time. I had such good times with you and your Mother when we were kids. May God Bless each and every one of you. Cindy Patterson Vick
My sincere condolences to the Thorne family for your loss. Certainly Bethel will be missed! During this time of sorrow, great comfort can be gained from mediating on Jehovah`s promises found in his word the Bible-2 Cor. 13, 4! He promises that our enemy death, one day won’t have any victory over us, because death will be brought to nothing-1Cor. 1526! This is possible because of Jehovah`s great love for us! He sent his son to the earth to die for us, so that death would bee done away with-John 316! Many may feel that Death ends it all, but the Bible helps us to appreciate that we can be reunited with our loved ones! Jesus helps us to appreciate that the resurrection hope will bring this about-John 528, 29! The Bible has several resurrection accounts that can really help build up our faith and confidence, that Jehovah by means of Jesus will perform a even grander resurrection of our loved ones in the near future! Jehovah has given Jesus the keys of death and the grave, so soon, just like he did with his friend Lazarus, he will call out and our dead loved ones will hear him, and come out-Rev 118, John 1121-44! Please feel free to email me [emailprotected] for any questions you may have. Also feel free to visit the Official website of Jehovah`s Wittnesses, http://www.jw.org to read the Watchtower Does Death End It All. May your family be comforted!
Love was the reason for the ransom sacrifice, showing the great love that Jehovah & Jesus had for all of mankind. (John 316) What a wonderful gift we have been giving, to have the hope of seeing our loved ones once again. Death is the age-old enemy, we all meet as our journey end. It is never pleasant, when we loss someone we love. The pain at times, is so heart breaking, that our tears, keep on flowing. (Ps. 3418) Even the perfect man, JESUS CHRIST, Gave way to tears. So greatly grieved was he over the death of his friend, Lazarous. (John 1135) Without fear the way ahead
