Belmont Nick Woodruff Mr. Belmont Nick Woodruff, age 80, of Rocky Mount, NC, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at his residence. Born September 17, 1930 in Nash County, NC, he was a son of the late Nick and Bluma Dixon Woodruff. Mr. Woodruff, a retired rarmer and a veteran of the United States Air Force, graduated from Benvenue High School. In his later years, he enjoyed socializing with his dancing buddies at the YMCA, and was also a member of the Wilson Masonic Lodge. He is survived by a sister, Rhumelle Harrell of Eastover, NC; a brother, Aubrey Woodruff and his wife, Peggy, of Nashville, NC; nieces, Susan Denton and her husband, Ronnie, of Nashville, NC, Rhonda Armstrong and her husband, Jim, of Eastover, NC, Sandra Brown and her husband, Earnest, of Fayetteville, NC, Donna Harding and her husband, Roger, of Apex, NC, and Lisa Roberds and her husband, Mike, of Apex, NC; nephew, Jeffrey Woodruff and his wife, Fran, of Nashville, NC; great-nieces, Paige Denton of Raleigh, NC and Anna Roberds of Apex, NC; great-nephews, Matthew Brown of Fayetteville, NC, James Roberds of Apex, NC, and Steven Harding of Apex, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three wives, Ann Bostain Woodruff, Joyce Bissette Woodruff, and Jackie Hendricks Woodruff; infant daughter, Lynn Kay Woodruff; brother, Donald Ray Woodruff; and a nephew, Matt Denton.
