  1. I always looked forward to our little chats before Church your smile and laughter about something that happened during the week and especially the way your eyes would light up when you talked about Alex and his accomplishments. My thoughts and prayers are with JD and the family losing someone as special as Barbara is difficult to understand but hoping that you will take comfort in knowing that heaven has another angel. Your friend, Judy Brown

  6. Junie, Barbara Ann was my Very Best Friend in all the World…the Sister I never had for 61 years…..1950 to 2011. We were so close Junie….such a jolt learning of her passing. Even over the miles with me in Florida…we always talked on phone and e-mailed one another almost everyday!!!!! Now I have adopted Carol as my 2nd Sister. Junie, keep in touch with me. My prayers are with you, Carol and your families. Love, Janet Moss Perry

  7. Barbara and her sister Carol are the most delightful and loving people in Rocky Mount. I so enjoyed working with both of them at Odyssey Travel. The jokes and smiles would brighten everyone’s day. It is always sad to lose someone so nice, but I am sure God has special plans for her. My sincerest sympathies to the entire family.
