DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Amanda Lynn Eason, age 34, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Born in Wilson County, NC on September 24, 1982, she was preceded in death by her father, Timothy, “Tim” Lynn Eason.
Amanda came into the world a ball of fire, carrying this throughout her childhood and adult life - she was full of life and had the gift of gab. She loved music of all kinds, dancing, she played the violin, guitar, piano and had an amazing voice she shared with everyone and everyone loved to hear her sing! She had a heart of gold and loved her children and family dearly. “Pooh Bear,” as her Uncle Randy called her, lived a life of love, many experiences, and struggles some of us could never understand or comprehend; however, her love of music, her family, her loving mother and father, and most importantly, God brought her through. Her faith gave her strength and in this last year, she was living a life she was proud of, which came out in her music and the beautiful smile and laughter she shared with the world!
Amanda leaves behind to cherish her memory, mother, Tammy Marie King and step-father, Ronnie King of Raleigh; sons, Brent and James; sister, April Marie Eason of Zebulon; niece, Marissa and nephews, Chris and Allan.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM prior to the service.

After viewing the video, I’m reminded of what a sweet child Amanda was. Not seeing her often over the last several years didn’t make her loved any less by family that always wished the best in life for her. She is now with other family in heaven and safe in the arms of Jesus. Aunt Brenda

Hi. My name is stan. Amanda came to live with me years ago in marathon . I was just looking her up to make contact with her after 5 years. I’m shocked and so sorry to find out about her passing. What a wonderful spitfire she was. She started me playing guitar. I had taken her to a restaurant that had kareoke. She got up, started singing and everybody was in awe of how talented she was. I will have great memories of Amanda. I am so upset and hurt. She was just a beautiful person. My name is Stanley.
