  1. Tom was a Rocky Mount notable, from his daily walks around town, his regular post office and library visits, his museum, cafe and restaurant support, he was at home in this city. Never a Veterans or a Memorial Day celebration did he miss. Never a bud or flower, insect or four-legged critter did he pass without notice. And his passing WILL be noticed with respect and sadness.
