Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Susan, David and Lynn It is with a broken heart I write this. I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet mother. Mildred wasn’t just my only sister-in-law she was my best friend. She and I made many memories together and I will miss her very much. I’m thankful she no longer suffers and is finally at rest and peace; she also has joined your dad as well as Bill. You three and your families are in my daily thoughts and prayers. You all were the pride and joy of her life as well as her grandchildren and her great granddaughter. May God bless you as you grieve the loss of one so dear. With Deepest Sympathy,

  2. So sorry to hear about your mother. Remember all the good times the people of Kilgo UMC had together and your mother working in the church office. She was a sweet lady and will be missed but know she is in a better place. I know a lot of good people that were waiting for her in Heaven. Love to all of you. Sarah Westbrook

  3. I am saddened by the news of Mildred’s passing. I will always remember the times we spent together when she was living at Cambridge Hills. May the memories you shared help you through this difficult time. God bless and may Mildred rest in peace. Angela.

  4. Susan, Mark, Carson, Amanda & Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, your MeeMaw. My thoughts and prayers have been with you and I hope you have some comfort knowing she is no longer suffering any pain and is free of sickness. I only knew MeeMaw for a few years, but thought the world of her and always loved to see and visit with her. I am very thankful that she was able to see and meet her great grandchild, Mallory James, even if it was only for a short period of time. She loved that little girl, always asking about her and to see her. May God grant you the peace and comfort that all of you need during this time of grieve. Love you all,

  5. Truly sorry to hear about your mother. I know how difficult this time is for you. When my mother died some friends of mine shared a scripture with me , 1 Corinthians 12-4. Knowing that God comforts us in our grief helped me. Revelation 213-4 is also comforting. I hope you can find comfort from reading these scriptures knowing that God knows the pain in your heart and will comfort you. Sincerely, Julia Bailey

  6. We are greatly sorrowed to hear of Mildred’s passing. She will always be remembered for her great kindness and her love of flowers by all the United Methodist Women at Mount Pleasant UMC in Pittsboro.

  7. I enjoyed knowing Mildred when my father was at Twin Rivers Independent Senior Community in Pittsboro, NC. She was one of the more interesting residents there. When I would stop by to visit my father I would also go talk to her. I lost contact with her when she moved to Cambridge Hills. I liked Mildred and have fond memories of her.
