Lottie and Charlotte, keeping you both in the forefront of my prayers. I know you have been through so much with your dad and it is so difficult to see someone’s earthly body fail them. Rest soundly knowing he is in the warm embrace of our heavenly Father. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you all shared in the days to come. Sending hugs and love to you. Lottie praying for you and your family. So sorry to hear this news, some of us have lost a true friend we grew up with. I know Dan is in Heaven getting up a game of Kick the Can for all of us that grew up playing it together.
Dan was kind, strong, and humble …and people loved him for it.

Our thoughts and prayers for the entire family. Dan was just a good person, full of inspiration to others and he lived his convictions. The memories of his life will live for generations and will inspire others to live as Dan did. Our Deepest Sympathy to all of the family members. W. H. & Irene Johnson
I don’t think I ever heard a negative word or comment from Dan. He always had a positive outlook on things. I think I’m a better person by sharing our rides to work at Firestone. Renee and I will always use the hiking sticks Dan made for us. We have Walking for Dan written on the side of them to help raise awareness for donations to ALS and honor his memory.
To all of the Ennis family. Dan was a customer of ours here at the barber shop. It was a pleasure and a privilege knowing him. He was always a positive person and an enjoyable fellow to converse with. We will truly miss him! Our deepest condolences to his family. Heaven just got another angel.
To Dan’s family. I know it has been awhile since Dan passed but I was just made aware of his passing today. A finer man I gave not known. At BFS when we crossed paths the conversation was always about Charlotte and my Jacob. Their goals and sucesses in their college years. Dan’s death has saddened me because he was as good a man as I have ever known. Close we were not but common ground we shared with our children. Lottie and Charlotte, God Bless you both. Steve Holster.
