William “Bill” Isaac Price

ROCKY MOUNT - William "Bill" Isaac Price, age 89, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, March 20, 2021. Born in Nash County, NC on January 12, 1932, he was the son of the late William Atwood Price and Nellie Robbins Price. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Lois Oakley Price; his sister, Pearl Sorenson. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member and a Deacon of Benvenue Baptist church for many years. In April, 2018, Bill received the Deacon Emeritus Award. He will be missed by all of his family, church family and friends. Bill is survived by his daughters, Patricia “Patsy” Price Wilder and husband, Kim, of Rocky Mount and Terry Price Reges and husband, Harry, of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, D. J. Bryant and his wife, Julie, Traci Suber and her husband, Tim, and Garrett Reges; three great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; his brother, Rev. Elbert Lee Price and his wife, Ginny; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Benvenue Baptist Church, 2464 Benvenue Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Dr. Michael Creekmore officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service in the Sanctuary of Benvenue Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bill's memory to Benvenue Baptist Church, 2464 Benvenue Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
