Warren Carroll Van Male, Jr.

PINETOPS - Warren Carroll Van Male, Jr., age 78, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Born in Middlesex County, Massachusetts on May 11, 1942, he was the son of the late Warren Carroll Van Male, Sr. and Helen Gould Van Male. Warren along with his wife, Judy, was a member of the Pinetops Presbyterian Church for many years. A man who believed in giving back to his community, he was a veteran of the United States Air Force and in addition he served as a volunteer fireman with the Pinetops Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Pinetops Lions Club. Early on Warren attended East Carolina University where he received his bachelors degree in Industrial and Technology. Throughout his life, he enjoyed many hobbies such as collecting various military artifacts, exploring the depths beneath the waters surface scuba diving, flying, and photography. A dedicated and loving husband, father, brother and loyal friend to many, Warren will be always remembered and deeply missed. Warren is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Fuller Van Male of Pinetops; his son, Warren Carroll Van Male, III., of Pinetops; his daughter, Julia Margaret Van Male of Macclesfield; his brother, Hugh O. Van Male and his wife, Martha, of Washington; his niece, Lynn Marie Smith and nephew, Robert James Van Male. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Warrens 's memory to the Alzheimers Association Eastern NC, 5171 Glenwood Ave., Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27612 or to a charity of your choice.   1. Warren was such a blessing to me when he helped me with my computer. He and Judy also let me teach their 2 special children, too.
