Ed was a true gentleman and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. So glad I knew him and sat in front of him and Betsy at church for many years. Praying for Beth and Frank and their families🙏🏻
Ed Jolley was a true Southern gentleman. What a blessing both he and Betsy were to our family. He will be remembered with the highest honors and love. May God’s comfort and peace be with Beth, Frank and family.
I met Mr. Jolley years ago when my office was next door to his on Sunset Avenue. Always interested in my family and work. My wife, Valerie, knew him through his work with People’s Bank. Not only a true Southern Gentleman, but just a great human being. You lived a long and very meaningful life Mr. Jolley. Job well done! I am thankful I knew you. Prayers for Frank, Beth and all the Jolley family.
Ed was a great friend for many years, both as an insurance provider as well a sailing buddy on the Pamlico and Neuse Rivers. He was a true Gentlemen and always had a great smile for both friends and strangers. Our condolences to Beth, Frank and their families.
Ed and Betsy were thoughtful, caring friends for many years. After one visit with Lloyd and me at Beech Mountain, they gave us a pillow with a Jack Russell terrier on it that looked exactly like our little Whitfield. That pillow is in my living room chair and I think of them every day when I see it. We enjoyed cheering on our Tar Heels together. And yes, Ed was a true Southern gentleman. We are blessed to know, Frank and Beth, we will see them again. Wishing you God’s peace, Sarah Bailey
