  1. To the family of Dr. Omatta Sirisena,

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

    With Deepest Sympathy,
    Michelle Petruolo

  2. I worked with Dr. Sirisena for a short time after the passing of his wife. Only after about five months he decided that he was going to retire and close the office. Not long after he had a stroke. It was a pleasure learning things from such a knowledgeable man. RIP DR SIRISENA. Prayers 🙏 for his family.

  3. A simple honest precious man who always welcomed me, with Aunty, in his home when I was a student in Greensboro. I was in awe that he had a “plane” and a horse 😊I had the chance to visit them with my family, a few times after that too, at Candlewood Road. The small kids had a ball in the pool.
May the Blessings of the Triple Gem be with his Entire Family, Now and Always

  4. Dear Hassie , Annie , Imali & Anoma ,
Our deepest sympathies to you all for the loss of your beloved father , Mahasen Bappa …please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time …
Mahasen Bappa was my father’s youngest brother , and although we last met about ten long years ago when he visited us in Sri Lanka , his memory remains close to our hearts ..During that visit , he spent time with my mother and my family , sharing his future plans of spending a few months every year in Sri Lanka , even looking for an apartment in Narahenpita his very own home town .
Sadly a year later we were saddened to hear that he had suffered a stroke which prevented him from traveling .
He was a kind hearted doctor who dedicated countless hours to his patients , earning their love and admiration . He often shared with us the stories of how much the patients loved him .
In the later years my cousins along with Anoma took very good care of him ensuring that he led a comfortable and peaceful life .
Dear Hassie , Annie and Imali , we pray for your strength and inner peace at this time and we hope you find comfort knowing how deeply Mahasen Bappa was loved and respected by all who knew him …
Good Bye , Mahsen Bappa …. May you attain the Supreme Bliss of Nibbana
    Upendra Sirisena & Family
