This was a very special day for Mrs. Nadine (Nana as I fondly called her). It was her 86th birthday and we took her out to eat at Chili’s. I remember her sitting at the table with her legs crossed dipping chips into the Salsa. She really enjoyed that outing surrounded by her family and friends.
She was such a loving and sweet lady who always had a kind word to say and a beautiful smile that would light up the darkest room. I love you Nana and will truly miss you!!

What wonderful role models Nadine and Gold were for many of us growing up in the church. Amazing how giving they both were to our church and how family members have continued to be. I remember my parents speaking so highly of them. They were always a joy to be around, even for the young ones. I also, remember how Mrs. Joyner was so good to my parents when they were sick. All the things a child needs to witness in adults we witnessed in them. So thankful for knowing them. Prayers for the families peace and comfort during this time.
Mrs. Nadine was a fine southern lady. Gentle, kind, and helpful. The world was a better place with her in it.

I was heartbroken to learn of Nadine’s passing, better known as Nana to everyone at Spring Arbor. Nana was such a loving and caring individual. She always told me she loved me after I said it to her. Please accept my deepest condolences. Nana will be greatly missed. It was such a joy to take care of her. Know that she will always have a special place in my heart. My prayers are with your family as you heal. God be with you.

From the first day I met Nana she was the most talkative lady but she was the sweetest little lady you could ever meet!!! I had one wish for all the residents of the cottage and that was for them to be as sweet as Nana, I would remind her of this often and she’d look at me with those blue eyes and say thank you darling, I love you and I’d say I love you too Nana. So many wonderful memories I will cherish. To the family thank you for sharing your precious jewel with me. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.No more suffering Nana is now resting but never forgotten. TC.
So sorry for y’all loss such a nice person.

Dear Sandy and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was and is a wonderful loving woman of God. I have many fond memories of being at Bethlehem Presbyterian with you, Donnie, Amy and Anna, and your parents. As well as the friendship of being West Mount neighbors/friends. May God bless you and keep you during this time of sadness. I know your parents are celebrating in Heaven. We will all see them again some sweet day!

I was very blessed to have had Nadine and Gold in my life over the years. They both were very special to me and my family. They both nurtured me through the loss of my Mama, Daddy and Brother. I will always remember Papa Gold and Nana as my neighbor, part of my church family, and most of all dear friends. They treated me so kind and like one of their girls! I was blessed to have known them since I was a little girl.
