Middlesex – Michael Lee Arnold, age 60, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025. He was born in Nash County, NC on May 15, 1964.
Michael was a long-time employee of Hardees Food Systems and was also a 32nd Degree Mason. A man of great faith, he was an active member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, where he served both as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and liturgy reader. In his spare time, Michael was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying theatre and playing golf. A loving and devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and good friend to many, Michael will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Michael is survived by his parents, Gene Grey Arnold and Lynne Shannon Arnold of Rocky Mount; his son, Michael “Lee” Arnold, II of Raleigh; his daughter, Olivia Krissin Arnold of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Jax Hand and Ryver Naccarato of Rocky Mount; his brother, Gene Grey Arnold, II of Rocky Mount; his sister, Lisa Davis Sullivan of Grandy; and extended family members and good friends.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1:30 PM at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 301 S. Circle Dr, Rocky Mount, NC 27804, with Rev. Les Carpenter officiating.
