During a family's time of loss, understandably family and friends would like to visit and express their sympathy. Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services asks that during this difficult time for the safety and well-being of the family, please keep touching and contact to a minimum. We ask if you have visited outside of the USA in the last two weeks or if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms to please wait and visit with the family at a later time. You may contact the family by email, place an online condolence on our website or give the family a phone call. Again, we understand this is a difficult time but we encourage exhibiting safety and courtesy to everyone involved in these services. The mandate from Governor Cooper includes funerals, visitations and all services, so we must limit the attendance until further notice. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this unprecedented situation.

Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
My mother, Myrtlene Braswell, and Mary Frances worked together at Schottland. Such a nice group of ladies that worked in the office. I remember them and Mary Frances very well. Much love to all of the family.

Thinking of the family
My Dearest Taylor Family, As you know, your mom was a very special person. I saw her rear you in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Also a fighter for trying to keep the RS’s, GA’s, and Acteens alive. She helped raise a lot of money for missions. Her skills and abilities have surley been missed. You have been so faithful in taking care of her. That is the way that she taught yoy. May the Power of the Holy Spirit comfort you in the days to come. Always remember the good times. Miss Mary shared a room with my mother at Rocky Mount Rehab for several years till her health deteriorated. She was a very upbeat and classy lady. Face timing my mother on Sundays, I would always speak with her if she is there. She would ask me when am i gonna visit again and I would tell her. A few weeks ago I told her May for Mother Day not knowing God had other plans. My deepest sympathy to the family.
We will miss Ms Mary. Her quick wit and ready smile always brightened our visit to see my grandmother. They looked out for each other as well as their ages permitted. Love and miss you Ms Priss.

Chuck, Ann, Janice, Scotty and families, Mrs. Mary Frances was a special part of my early memories at Calvary. She and my mom were a part of a special generation who were instrumental in supporting missions. She left big shoes to fill! So sorry that all this craziness is going on and I can’t be there to support you in person. Virtual hugs!
So sorry to hear of Mrs. Taylor’s passing. She and my mother, Mamie Jones Moore, were friends at classmates at Benvenue School. Wishing you all peace and comfort. -Dan Moore, Red Oak
