Kimberly Sue Parrish Lynch

ROCKY MOUNT - Kimberly Sue Parrish Lynch, age 53, passed away peacefully at Vidant Medical Center on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Born in Nash County, NC on May 2, 1964, she was the daughter of Edward Wayne Parrish and the late Janet Langston Wheeless. Kim graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High School in 1982 and went on to work for Honeywell Aerospace. She was an assembly and test technician 3 and was a devoted employee of 28 years, it was without a doubt that Kim genuinely enjoyed her work, loved her coworkers, and was a grateful employee. Following in her mothers footsteps, Kim also had a love for cooking, especially during the holidays for her family. Outside of work and spending time with family, Kim had a love for the natural beauty of our coastal beaches, which she would visit whenever the opportunity arose. Kim was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Kim leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two sons, Tyler and Jacob Lynch of the home; her father, Edward Wayne Parrish and wife, Kathy, of Rocky Mount; her sister, Cindy Shearer and her husband, Darryl, of Wilson; and her brother, Edward Wayne Parrish, Jr. of Pittsburg, PA. She is also survived by her uncle, Al Langston; niece, Gaia Parrish; nephew, Trevor Shearer; and her dear friend, Tim Parker. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home Cremation Services with Rev. Robert Wheeless, II officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home.
