Q: What will you miss most about Kenneth “Ken”?
A: My Dad had the biggest heart ❤️ he would think of everyone before himself always, even down to his last days! He didn’t meet no strangers. Joking was his thing; the jokes were sometimes off the wall BUT those were his “Kenizums” and he kept us laughing & we would trade anything just to hear them once again. He loved us all equally; kids & grandkids included. The love he had for my Mom was everything. 💛
Dad; I loved you then, now, & forever!
Love always, your one & only baby girl

Condolences to Ken’s wife and family. I worked with Ken at Honeywell. He was one of the nicest guys I’ve met. We would see each other occasionally around Nashville after we both retired and would have lengthy remembrances of our years at Honeywell. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time and in the days ahead. May God Comfort you all!

I first met Ken in 1970 when I moved to Florida. We were next door neighbors and became instant friends. A few years later I got married and he met and married Bobbi and they moved just far enough where it became difficult to visit but we remained friends. Every year since then he called me on my birthday and I did the same on his. He never missed a single year until last year when his health took a turn for the worst, but he still didn’t miss my birthday…he had Melanie contact me instead because he was not able to contact me himself. That is friendship…that is love.
I have been blessed to call him my friend for most of my life. He was one of the kindest men I have ever known and he will be deeply missed.
Sending prayers & condolences to your family, Melanie.
Q: What will you never forget about Kenneth “Ken”?
A: We have known Ken since the early 80’s having been coworkers and great friends of his. He was the kindest most caring man that we’ve ever had the privilege of knowing and calling a friend. Ken was quick witted and he would always have a “Ken-ism” joke to add to any conversation that would crack everyone up. He was the link that kept up with all of our Florida coworkers and friends. We will forever miss Ken and his Ken-isms. May he Rest in Eternal Peace.
I love you always Dad 😭💛
Big hugs to you Melanie Waring. My condolences to you sweetheart. I am sorry for the loss of your parents.
Mr. Waring, you were without a doubt a ray of sunshine in our Family Caregiver Support Group. You always started our meetings out with a joke and brought encouragement to so many. The love you had for your wife and family was monumental. You and your wife were a true love story and I know that through God’s grace and mercy, you are together; renewed and full of joy. It was a pleasure and a blessing to have met you and spent time with you.
