  1. We are keeping David and his family in our thoughts and prayers. The Dickens family have been next door neighbors and friends for a long time. I’ll never forget Mrs. Dickens and her love of animals. I can still remember her calling for her cats and they would come running! She always supported me as a young girl growing up in Rocky Mount. She was the first to buy wrapping paper or other things I sold for my church youth group or school. She was a very special lady and I’m so glad I knew her.
    Sincerely,
    Kathryn Horne Yarbrough
