  7. Duncan & Mrs. Baker, Just wanted to let you know, how hurt I was to have heard of Mr. Baker’s passing. I had a lot of good times with him when I saw him up at D&J Groc. We would cut the fool together laughing together and have our little talks. I learn alot things from him just listen to him talk. We would talk about how this would as changed. We did alot of talking about garden, so times I would ask him question on some problems I was having with my garden and other things. I really enjoyed making him laugh. Every time he see me he would tell how good those tomatoes were I gave him, I was so glad to have made him happy. Duncan I’m hear for you if when you see me at the store if you just want to talk. If there’s anything I can do for you and your mom just let me know. I’M GOING TO REALLY MISS HIM. I’ll keep you and your mom in my prays. LOL Annette Bunn ( tomato Lady)

  10. Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 258. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.

  11. I am sorry I was not able to be there but am thinking about you and I will always remember Buck as my life-long best friend. We had many good experiences and good times together. Marvin Carpenter

  12. Many memories from my childhood up at the store and listening to the stories from Mr. Buck and many others that when you look back on it were truly great times. Sitting around and telling stories unfortunately is a dying art form these days. My prayers are with the Baker family during this time of loss. Jim Cockrell
