Mr Pernell was the sweetest man. I met him when working in the shipping office of JP Taylor in Henderson. He will be greatly missed. Prayers go out to the family.
I worked with JP many years at Epes Transport.. He was a mentor and I valued everything he taught me about Epes Transport and the trucking industry…JP and I became good friends and he truly loved God and his family.. I will miss him but will always remember the great times we had as fellow workers and as a good friend….. Britt Colley
Ora and Family Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you lay J.P. to rest. Remember his sunset on earth meant a sunrise in Heaven.
My sincere condolences to the Pernell family for your loss. Even though I didn’t know James personally, I know that he will truly be missed. I enjoy sharing Jehovah`s God`s promises in his word the Bible about the end of death and the hope for our dead loved ones, for it truly does provide comfort-2 Cor. 13, 4. Regarding the end of death, the scripture at Isa. 258, helps us to appreciate that Jehovah will swallow up death! He will also wipe all the tears of sorrow from our faces! What a wonderful time that will be, when death is done away with! The Bible also helps us to appreciate that we can be reunited with our dead loved ones! Jesus clearly demonstrated this when he with the help of his father Jehovah, resurrected Lazurus, who had been dead for four days-John 1111-44! Without a doubt his family and friends that witness that, were ecstatic! Like Jesus, we can have confidence in the resurrection hope-John 528, 29! I hope this will prove to be comforting to your family! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at [emailprotected]
During your time of grief, may God wrap his arms around you during this very hard time. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son & exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, & I will resurrect him at the last day. John 640
