Hi my name is Kayla and I am a local bible teacher. I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. There is a very comforting scripture at Isaiah 258. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can all look forward to a time when death will be no more. I hope that this scripture can bring some true comfort during these difficult times.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I wish I could be there. Uncle Jack meant so much to me. Gina Sharpe Grantt
My name is Rod Grantt. I have the honor of being the husband of one of Jack’s nieces. I first met Jack at his home Sharpsburg. This is when I made a friend and connection to a man of great intellect, character and hospitality. He welcomed me into his home ( and showed me his gun collection which thrilled me immensely) front that point forward, when the opportunity to visit Jack and his family arose, we would always have a discussion concerning interests of mine such as aviation and of course firearms. Jacks knowledge of numerous fields of academia has surely been passed down to his children and their children. Jack, I’m gonna miss you when the family takes the beach trip or mountain visit again. Ask Orville and Wilbur up there if they really were the first to invent the airplane for me!
Jack and Dave… I was really sorry to read about your dad. Cherish the good memories each of you have…I know it’s a tough place to be…. Larry Jernigan
