Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Susan, we are sorry to hear about your mother’s passing. Yet, you did have her with you for a lot of years. We know you will miss her very much. We are thinking about you at this time and our prayers are for you and the family. Mervin and Edith Jenkins
Mrs. Hazel and your family always meant so much to us. Every year, we use Mrs. Hazel’s Christmas stockings that she made for every member of our family. May God hold you in His loving arms during this time of missing her so much. I know that she is enjoying caring for others and reuniting with her loved ones in heaven. I look forward to seeing Jeff again soon in Atlanta. Susan Kitts Messer
I have very fond memories of Hazel and Romie. My Daddy, Country, and Romie were railroad coworkers, but more than that they were great friends. May God give you comfort during this time of sorrow. Love to you all. Harriet (Parker) Howell
Susan, Romie and Sam I just heard about your Mom’s passing and I wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family. I have many fond memories of living across the street from you for many years and how close your mama and my mama were. They may start a knitting club in heaven. Dorothy Kea
I always loved Mrs. Hazel. She was funny, pleasant, and charming. She had a marvelous sense of humor and a beautiful smile. I still have all the beautiful stockings that she made for me and my family. I pray that God will comfort you and bless you all during this time. I hope to see Jeff in Atlanta when he returns. For as long as I can remember, Sam’s ending line in his Christmas email was, My mother is still spending my inheritance, and for that I am grateful! Like all good friends, I stole that line, and have used it the past few years myself. I only met Hazel once, when we were at NC State. She was a wonderful woman then, and I’m sure she was a wonderful woman up until the day she passed away. May your memories of Hazel bring you great joy. Chris and Mike Cox – Juno Beach Florida.
