Geraldine Ferell Wilson

SHARPSBURG - Geraldine Ferrell Wilson, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Born in Nash County, NC on July 5, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Ferrell and Retha Wells Ferrell. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Robert Wilson, II; brother, William Michael Ferrell; and sisters, Lou Ferrell, Judith Batchelor, and Della Archer. Geraldine leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Greg Wilson and wife, Kelly, of Rocky Mount; and daughter, Christina Lantman and husband, Allan, of Sharpsburg. She is also survived by sisters, Maxine McCall and Janet Wilson; brother Patrick "Pat" Ferrell; her 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Peoples Chapel Cemetery in Elm City with Rev. Carlton Cockrell officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church, P.O. Box 118, Sharpsburg, NC 27878, or to the Alzheimers Association Eastern NC, 3737 Glenwood Avenue, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27612.
