Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Gail, it is with a broken heart that I write this message. I loved you like a sister and I know you loved me too. Best of best friends in school and you helped shape me and mold me into the person I am today – because you showed me what a really good friend is. I wish I could have been half the best buddy to you that you were to me. I’m so glad I got to see you and tell you I love you yesterday and you said my name and nodded when I asked you if you love me. It’s raining here today – the angels must be crying with me. I will see you in Heaven one day, but until then, save me a spot beside you. And to the family – I am so sorry because I know you loved Gail to the moon and back, and she loved you all so much – every single one of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Angie Renfrow Smith
You all are in my thoughts and prayers. As the younger sister of one of Gails friends, I always wanted to be with the big girls. I followed them wherever I could and wanted to go with them everywhere they went. They, of course, didnt want me to spoil their fun. I remember Gails infectious laughter and funny disposition. Everyone who knew and cared about Gail will miss her. Greg, you will always hold a special place in my memories. I can only guess the number of miles we walked around Hill, Sycamore & Mercer Streets, Eastern Ave., Pineview Street and Fairview Road. Those of us, who hung out together, way back, had lots of fun. Its probably a good thing we were too young to get into real trouble. I am holding you in my heart. Robin Goff Roper Wake Forest, NC

Sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.
It deeply saddened my heart to hear of the passing of Gail. I had the opportunity to conversate with her about a month ago and she was so excited about her upcoming retirement in December of this year. Said she would finally be joining us Raleigh Housing Authority retirees. She was always so kind to me, an inspiration, and a delight to be in her presence. Gail always expressed her love for her son and the grandchild. May the cherished memories of having someone as dear and precious as her for many, many years linger in your hearts forever. To her son and the entire family, Take comfort in God’s love during these difficult days. Continue to hold onto his unchanging hand, allow his shoulder to be the one you will lean on, and his arms to be there for you to hold onto. Please know that I will especially be remembering each of you in my prayers during your time of bereavement. Barbara Taylor – Raleigh, NC
Ransom & Erin, So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With deepest sympathy, Alan & Debbie Cox
My sincere condolences to the family of Commissioner Gail Keeter. I had the pleasure of working with her while she served on the Board of Commissioners for the Housing Authority of the County of Wake. Although she was small in statue, she made her presence known. She was an advocate for the employees and always willing to share her wealth of knowledge for the betterment of the Housing Authority. We are a better agency today because of her service. She will be missed. Burnetta J. Smith Chief Executive Officer Housing Authority of the County of Wake
Have been recalling so many memories of our time together. I am so happy you were a part of my life, Gail. I am so sad, but I know you are at peace. You will forever live in my heart and until we meet again………I love you………..DAWESY
