Delon Aldric Jordan

ROCKY MOUNT – Delon Aldric Jordan, age 44, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023. He was born in Staten Island, NY, on July 7, 1979. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Patricia Jordan; his grandmother Nannie Crosby; and great-grandmother, Mable Royster. Delon worked for the State of New York as a Direct Support Assistant. He enjoyed woodworking in his workshop, creating beautiful carved gifts for his loved ones. Delon is survived by his parents, Donald Jordan and Tangela Crosby Adenekan; his brothers, Dwayne Jordan and Malcolm Warney; his sister, Shadonna Jordan; and his aunt and uncle, Nilsa and Darren Ellis; his niece, Alexandria Jordan; his devoted fiancé, Iesha Leigh; and a host of cousins and friends. A Funeral Service to celebrate Delon’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with Rev. Dr. Johnnie Holloway officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
