  9. Hi Mr. Hoff. I was thinking of you the other day and wanted to drop a line to tell you that I sure miss you. I couldn’t have asked for a better father-in-law! Just in case you didn’t know, your grandsons Cameron & David loved the ground you walked on. I know they are making you forever proud by following your footsteps into the USAF. Cameron got his wish of traveling the world but is glad to have his feet firmly on the ground, much to my delight. He is getting very close to earning his Associates Degree and just got a new job as an instructor! I think he’s really liking it; way better than working on planes. Now he teaches the new flight crews how to do everything the right way! He is well respected by his squadron, his bosses and the higher ups. He also has a steady girlfriend and they just bought a home together. Minnie is great and they are so good together. He is a smart, responsible and humble young man. At the same time, he’s still kind, sweet and cracks us all up on the daily! By the way, he is still a brilliant guitar player and even played during his graduation ceremony!
Ok enough about you Cameron😎. Now on to your youngest grandson David…He has an Associates Degree in Information Technology. He’s so driven and goal oriented. I used to sometimes feel he was having all work and no play. However, he has found that balance and has made some really best friends. He still gets together with a few of his old friends, who SurpriseSurprise, enlisted in the Air Force as well! See what you started😊! Cameron and David are both so kind and will both help anyone and everyone. Les and I love them to pieces! Speaking of your son Les (Leslie), your grandson’s dad and my hubby…We just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. We might get each other’s nerves sometimes (mostly me on his) but I love that man more than I ever thought possible! You and Mrs. Hoff did a phenomenal job raising him. Kim and Kevin are doing great too, by the way, but you already know that. We all know you’re watching over us all from heaven😇🪽 but I just wanted to remind you how much you are missed and loved🥰.
P.S. Do you remember when I baked a cake, how you would say “nobody eat none of this cake! It’s terrible!😁”, all the while smiling that sneaky smile and laughing. Well, it warmed my heart when you would say that and I’m fixing to make “your bride” a special cake for Mother’s Day. Hopefully she likes it because I really think the world of her.
    Until we meet again,
    ❤️ Gina
