  6. Patricia, I was so shocked to hear about Carl. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. After all these years, I’m glad I got to talk to Carl about the picnic and the reunion. I could feel the excitement in his voice and hopefully brought back some fond memories. Thanks for the book, that was very thoughtful of you. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Don Zatezalo

  7. Patsy, Jaina and I are so saddened to learn of your loss. We fondly remember the evening we spent with you and Carl a little more than a year ago in your home, on one of our visits to NC to see our son. May God grant Carl peace, and may God grant you and your family true blessings in this time of need. We know that you have great memories of Carl, and that is what is most important. Jaina and Duane Benson

  8. Carl was a good friend of our family in Goldsboro, NC. He was there during a time of great need when my Father passed away. He was our financial adviser and then our Attorney and then a friend. Wish we had known about his passing. We know that he had a hard battle with his health for some time and he was a fighter. I had been trying to call him this past week just to say Hello and found that he passed on the Internet. He will be missed by the Hatch family in Goldsboro.
