Rocky Mount – Brian Richard Sullivan Sr., a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished son, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the age of 50.

Born in Nash County, NC on December 18, 1974, Brian will be remembered for his generous heart, his steadfast love, and the many lives he touched with warmth and laughter.  A man of strong values, quiet kindness, and deep commitment to his family, his presence was a steady and a comforting light in the lives of all who knew him.  A loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and good friend to many, Brian will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Brian is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tracy Hall Sullivan; his children, Izabella Sullivan and Brian Sullivan Jr.; his parents, Gloria Lynn Andrews and Floyd “Ricky” Richard Sullivan; his sister, Sherry Sullivan Shearin, and brother-in-law, Jeff Shearin; as well as many other dear family members and friends.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804.  Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.  Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, April 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
