  1. I have known Bobby way back to our baseball days on Cokey Road. He was a great guy and I know he will be missed by his family and many friends. I never visited Proctors Chapel without seeing Bobby. He walked the walk and lived the life that the Bibles teaches christians to. I will miss Bobby’s easy nature and wise words. I know that I will see Bobby again one day in Heaven.
    Friends forever,
    Randy Tharrington

  2. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. I had the extreme pleasure of knowing Bobby my whole life. Growing up beside his parents was a true blessing in my life and not one single time went by without Bobby taking time to talk to me when he saw me. I learned alot from him, one of the biggest things was to let people in your life know that you love them. Another, somehow Bobby figured out how to stay 5 years old for 10 years, that’s what he always told me his age was lol. Thank you for being you my friend, a true example in what a real friend is. Ms. Louise and Eddie Boy were great people and it showed in all 4 of their children. Rest in Peace brother ❤

  3. Jackie, We are praying for you and Brian. Mr. Bobby will be missed by so many. You both are such an inspiration and example for others. Mr. Bobby was always such a pleasure and although the last few years have been filled with rough times for you both, everyone could see the love you too shared and the love you had for others even when you faced trials of your own. You two have been and will continue to be such a blessing to our family and my girls. We will miss seeing Mr. Bobby and sending him cards and goodies. We will be praying for you daily and sending hugs. We love you.

  4. October 31, 2020 – Morehead turn basin
That’s a decent size black drum. Bobby had a great time landing that one

  5. When we think of Bobby, we remember his calm, gentle and quiet spirit. Among earliest memories are his participation in church Christmas plays as one of the three kings, heading out to find and worship Jesus, which is something he continued to do throughout his life. Bobby was a dedicated Sunday School teacher and was eager to share his faith. He was always the first plumber my daddy would call when he had a plumbing need. He was a committed family man, playing roles of husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Even though his gait slowed in time and his feet sometimes shuffled, he was always quick to offer a greeting and a smile. We will miss your presence, but these memories will live on through those who love you.

  6. Jackie, I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that God sends you comfort and holds you in His arms through this difficult time.

  7. Jackie, I am so sorry to hear of your husband’s passing. May the comfort of the Lord hold you and comfort you.
