I’m sorry for your loss of Alice, but we know where she is–in heaven. Alice ate lunch with our group of widows (the Lunch Bunch) every Sunday after worship service at Arlington Baptist Church. She was a lovely, sweet Christian lady; I will greatly miss her.
I met Alice when she started attending Arlington Baptist Church. She was a pleasant person to be around. We ate, played cards, did trips and prayed together along with other things. She will surely be missed by many. Lean on the Lord and He will see you through. Prayers for all of you.
May God wrap His arms around you during this difficult time. Alice was a special lady. I enjoyed all the times I spent with her. She will surely be missed.
Love and Sympathy to All,
Judy and Harold Bass
Aunt Alice was one of the most devoted Christian women I have ever known. Her kindness towards everyone was a true example of Jesus Christ. She catered my wedding years ago, and made the most beautiful wedding cake. She was truly amazing and utilized all of the gifts God gave her. She shared her talents, gifts, and wisdom with everyone who knew her. I will truly miss you, Aunt Alice. I am striving to go to Heaven one sweet day, and I can’t wait to see you there. I love you so much.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
We love you all and are praying for you, always.
AMERICAP WAS LUCKY TO HAVE ALICE AS PART OF OUR FAMILY FOR SO MANY YEARS. SHE WILL SURELY BE MISSED BY US. OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO YOUR FAMILY.
We are so very sorry to hear of Aunt Alice’s passing. She was a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed.
Alice was a very sweet lady. She was a dedicated member of the Whitakers Lions Club for 12 years. She will surely be missed by us all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Family.
I was very sorry about Alice’s untimely death. I am her first cousin and had just seen her less than a month earlier at a family reunion. I was so impressed that she was still working, and she gave everyone present a crocheted pen holder, with the pen. It was a sad time for our respective families – my brother had died less than 2 weeks earlier, and my sister died the day after Alice did. My sympathies and prayers go out to Lonnie and all the family.
When living across from me in1973 thru 1978,Ted was like a big brother I never had.Eddie was like the little brother I never had. Even though I had a mother, Alice took me and the wife in ,like a mother .
She was warm, loving and caring. Food, gifts, and advice was all given with love. Will never forget her grace and love
